Church Doctrine

FOUNDER

Church of Our Earth was founded by Donna Gareis, who also serves as the Head Minister and Guide. While there are no specific teachers or prophets, Church of Our Earth believes that natural entheogens can facilitate and serve as both teacher and prophet to those who engage in their sacramental/ceremonial use. At Church of Our Earth, we trust the mushroom to guide us.

VISION

Church of Our Earth to seeks to live in a world with supportive and joyful communities, empowered to discover our own divinity with sacred mushrooms and each other.

MISSION

Church of Our Earth seeks to bring people together for healing and connection to divine revelation through communion with sacred mushrooms.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  1. We trust the Mushroom to guide us.
  2. We believe in individual, personal responsibility.
  3. We are an inclusive community.
  4. We strive to provide safe and supported access to anyone who is seeking, as it is our God given right to commune with our sacrament.

GATHERING PLACES

At all times, as approved by the Board of Directors, Church of Our Earth will retain at least one retreat center where all sacred ceremonies will be held, business of the organization will be conducted, and sacraments will be securely maintained.  However, Church of Our Earth will be conducting ceremonies and retreats at various other properties throughout the United States as approved by the Head Minister.  In the event the membership and participation in Church of Our Earth continues to grow, the organization may acquire additional retreat centers, as approved by the Board of Directors, so as to provide maximum healing, spiritual development, and safety to its members and participants.

KEEPERS OF KNOWLEDGE

Insofar as they are knowledgeable on certain matters, the ministerial leadership team will impute knowledge regarding microdosing, ceremonies, safety, and spiritual development to the members and participants at Church of Our Earth.

Microdosing rituals are similarly conducted. During a microdosing ritual, the individual acts as his or her own healer, guide and medicine man/woman and will do as follows:

Opening Prayer- Should include a prayer to The Great Spirit, a prayer of protection, and a prayer of intention.

In conjunction with the ceremonies and rituals, Church of Our Earth will also hold monthly integration meetings, the purpose of which is to assist members and participants in integrating the spiritual insights gained during the ceremony into their everyday lives.  This practice assists members and participants in effectuating positive changes in their lives and consequently raise the vibrational frequency of the world at large.

Church of Our Earth

Our Mission

Church of Our Earth focuses on microdosing with plant entheogens for spiritual health. We sincerely believe that small, sub-perceptual amounts of psychedelics taken reverentially and with intention is a Communion, which brings us closer to what is commonly called God. On occasion, Church Ministers with training as End-of-Life or Death Doulas may lead private ceremonial macrodosing sessions for those Church Members with End-of-Life diagnoses or in End-of-Life transitions.

All Church of Our Earth Members agree they will reverently and with intention take their microdose. Church of Our Earth Members also promise to be receptive to contact with and guidance from Higher Powers while microdosing. Finally, Church of Our Earth Members are bound not to redistribute or otherwise share their Sacramental microdoses.
